The upper hutch section features a bold molded cornice crown with a scalloped frieze below, above four open display shelves with plate grooves, all backed by vertical planked boards. The lower buffet base presents a wide serpentine-front profile resting on elegant cabriole legs with a carved scalloped apron. The base features four frieze drawers fitted with pewter-toned bail pull hardware and four paneled cabinet doors with arched raised molding and decorative keyhole escutcheons. Each cabinet section opens to a shelved interior. The piece exhibits intentional distressing throughout including fly-specking, checking, and surface wear marks consistent with the Guy Chaddock signature aged finish, lending the piece authentic Old World charm.
